Vidhayak Sansad is a public trust working for the socio-economic empowerment of Tribal, dalits, women and other marginalized section of society. Since 1979 trust has mounted campaigns for human rights and education with the active participation of exploited groups in Maharashtra It has worked closely with these groups to empower them through education, training and economic development program
About Vidhayak Sansad
Vidhayak Sansad (VS) was established in 1979 to support the development of marginalized communities in rural Maharashtra. The organization’s programs and campaigns emphasize universal education, women’s empowerment, eradication of malnutrition, training in human rights, and agricultural development. VS works in close coordination with its allied trade union, Shramjeevi Sanghatana, to reach the most neglected and abused sections of society, including tribals, dalits, impoverished women, and children. Its work fills in the gaps where government fails to deliver, while simultaneously pressuring authorities to fulfil their duties.
It emphasizes the development of self-reliance and empowerment among the rural poor alongside effective government intervention. Drawing on its twenty-nine years of experience, VS regularly updates and transforms its programs to meet the evolving needs of Maharashtra’s rural poor.

Agriculture
Vidhayak Sansad is been working for the Agriculture Initiative since its inception, during the campaign for release and rehabilitation of bonded labour.

In this materialistic world, Vidhayak Sansad organisation has created it’s prominence by expressing most genuine, selfless, humanitarian approach towards society.
Vidhayak Sansad is a center force for all movements towards well-being of all deprived classes especially Tribals at palghar district. It’s source for ongoing agitations for justice against exploitations. It is a place where volunteers from exploited communities are getting ongoing trainings to built high moral values, gratitude towards freedom fighters, understanding sociopolitical dynamics and creating committed force of volunteers. Education is fundamental backbone of organisational ethics. So in Ekalvya residential school more than 400 tribal girls are taking formal and vocational education since years.
During COVID pandemic , Vidhayak Sansad started dedicated COVID center exclusively for tribal communities and saved many lives.
Vivek bhau Pandit and Vidyullata tai Pandit are source of all inspiration ,motivation , dedication and commitment. Creating high moral values, purpose of life, importance of education, unity and agitation in people from deprived and exploited communities was certainly impossible task. But Bhau and Tai have dedicated their 40 years of life for upliftment and well being of tribals. And the outstanding result is getting reflected in all activities, operations and movements of Vidhayak Sansad.
